Inducing Lactation When Your Partner is Birthing

Your partner is birthing and you would like to breastfeed your baby.  Perhaps your partner will not be breastfeeding and perhaps they will.  Either way, you can choose to breastfeed.

Co-Nursing

Co-nursing is a beautiful way two parents can share in the joys and effort of breastfeeding.  Over the years, co-nursing parents have shared with me their keys to a co-nursing experience that meets the needs of the baby as well as both parents.

Inducing Lactation for Surrogacy

As an intended parent, you deserve a plan for inducing lactation that is individually suited to your needs along with support every step of the way.  Lactation support is also available for your surrogate if she is expressing milk for the baby.

Relactation* 

If you birthed your baby but either did not initiate breastfeeding or discontinued lactation and wish to resume, I am here to help -- whether you are most interested in making milk or latching your baby at your breast or both.

*Note:  Relactation is sometimes defined as resuming lactation after a previous lactation, even when resuming lactation for a baby you did not birth.  If you are a non-birthing parent, I am here to support you whether you consider yourself inducing lactation or relactating -- my services are the same.

Lactation Professionals
